Agreement to these terms
SehatRecord Pakistan ("we", "us", or "our") provides the SehatRecord mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.
By creating an account, downloading the App, or using SehatRecord, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What SehatRecord is
SehatRecord is a personal medical record keeping tool. It helps you store doctor visits, prescriptions, lab reports, test results, and medicine reminders in one place.
SehatRecord does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when it changes.
If you use the Service on behalf of a family member, you confirm that you have the authority to enter and manage their records.
Your content and records
You retain ownership of the medical records, files, and other content you upload or enter into the Service ("User Content").
You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, back up, and display User Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of User Content you submit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or automated scraping.
- Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to any patient profile.
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to others as a healthcare provider unless you are authorized to do so under applicable law.
Guest mode and offline use
The App may allow limited use without signing in. Data entered in guest mode is stored locally on your device and may be lost if the App is removed or the device is reset.
To sync records across devices and keep cloud backups, you must create an account.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that stored records will always be available, or that defects will be corrected immediately.
Important Note: SehatRecord only helps you organize and store your health records. Always consult a qualified doctor for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (or equivalent in local currency), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
